Local Focus
Each of the counties in our region has taken a unique approach to bicycle and pedestrian
initiatives in their communities. For some, it is providing sidewalks and connectivity to the downtown areas. Other areas have
chosen to create bike lanes along scenic or activity corridors. Still others use current facilities like parks and playgrounds to
provide walkways for leisurely strolls and friendly conversation among neighbors.
We have also included a map gallery of several communities that have
defined proposed future bike and pedestrian paths.
