Putnam County / City of Eatonton Bicycle & Pedestrian Planning

There are several planned highway projects along Highway 16 East that when combined will establish a sidewalk network from Jefferson Avenue to the Hospital.

In addition to the above project, the City of Eatonton-Putnam County Comprehensive Plan identifies several other bicycle and pedestrian facility improvements to be undertaken over the next five years, and they include: (1) Sidewalk improvements in downtown Eatonton and neighborhood residential area; and (2) Bike trails in portions of the unincorporated area.
